With the increasing threat of rising greenhouse gas emissions and rising temperatures in urban environments, trees provide a good way for reducing the impacts of some of these issues.

We will be planting around 25 trees, starting with a short planting demo, and then having participants plant the rest in groups! There will be tree experts on site to advise and lead the event, as well as flyers to take home!

Bonus: Snacks and water will be provided on site, as will free fruit trees to take home (available as long as supplies last).
