Make a difference in our world! Learn about composting, turf removal, drip water systems, crushed granite installation, and planting drought-resistant plants. There will be brief presentation and lots of hands on experience! Kitchen composting containers will be given to all participants.
Goals:
Our goal is reduce pounds of green waste sent to our landfill and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our neighborhood.

Instructions for participants: Please bring gloves and wear long pants and closed-toed shoes. Parking is available in the parking lot on the corner of Olive and Nordina or behind the church on Vine. Bring your favorite shovel or rake if you don't want to wait your turn for tools.
