Paper-Making with Invasive Plants

Location: Prospect Park in the grassy area across from the restrooms. A parking lot is close by.

Through the creative process of hand papermaking, this project will bring an awareness to horticultural invasive grasses and promote the use of native grasses in home gardens. We will also be learning about California's endangered grasslands, all through the creative process of hand papermaking. Free native grass starts of Muhlenbergia Rigens will be available to participants in limited supplies.
