The City of Redlands will be providing free mulch for all landscape projects.
Goals:
To educate on the harms of waste contributing to landfills and to encourage the recycling of organic materials to create nutrient rich compost to rejuvenate our soil and promote the success of plant life and local biodiversity.
Climate impact project is addressing:
Increasing drought/water shortages
Rising greenhouse gas emissions
Instructions for participants: Gloves, boots, special clothing; tools, shovels, hammers? Parking? Physical requirements(lifting, standing)? Appropriate for children? Please bring your own truck or trailer to collect mulch. Bring your own gloves, boots, and shovels.
