Learn how to create your own worm composting bin as well as taking a look at the current aerobic composting operation within the urban environment at the Sustainable University of Redlands Farm. If you're interested, please sign up to gain the skills and knowledge to be able to start your own compost.
Goals:
To educate on the harms of waste contributing to landfills and to encourage the recycling of organic materials to create nutrient rich compost to rejuvenate our soil and promote the success of plant life and local biodiversity.

Instructions for participants: This workshop will be done outside (inside greenhouse if raining). Please wear a hat, sunscreen, water bottles, clothes toes shoes and layered clothing. Don't mind getting dirty as we'll be on our farm.
