Educate attendees on the benefits of electric bicycles, and how they can be used for commuting and/or neighborhood errands, all while reducing rising greenhouse emissions.
Attendees will learn and experience that with a relaxed riding position and help from the electric motor, e-bike riders get to dress in street clothes or business attire and arrive at their destination ready for work or have fun (no need for a shower). For commutes to and from public transport stations, local work locations, and grocery store or other errands, studies show that riding an electric bicycle can be more eco-friendly than electric cars or standard bikes.
Goals:
Educate attendees on the benefits and then allow them to try an e-bike themselves.
Climate impact project is addressing:
Rising greenhouse gas emissions
Instructions for Participants:
Parking available in Stater Bros Center.
Demos only available to teenage children; riders will be required to wear a helmet (that we provide).
