Burrage Mansion asks help from the community to re-plant their pollinator garden, and build berms around the base of their citrus trees.
1) Pollinator Garden: Planting more plants, increasing signage and maintenance to our area that will provide food sources for important pollinators like bees and butterflies.
2) Berm building around the base of our citrus trees. Our objective is to minimize the amount of run-off water and reduce water waste. The morning will consist of getting a little dirty with gloves and trowels to shape a mound of dirt to create a basin in which water will sit and drain to the roots.
Butterflies and Oranges for all to enjoy!
To maintain citrus grove irrigation and reduce water waste due to future drought.
To promote biodiversity and healthy ecology for our outdoor programming and space
